Eurasia International University

Founded in 1996, Eurasia International University is an independent, fully accredited institution of higher education with its main campus in Yerevan , Armenia . The University, formerly also known as Mkhitar Gosh Yerevan International University , is celebrating its second decade of continued growth and commitment to advancing educational excellence.

Eurasia International University is today a recognized leader in higher education, with an abiding belief in the fundamentals of academia and the use of technology in support of learning and teaching. The University's distinction in its academic programs has earned it full and continued accreditation by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia . The University gains its strength from its talented, energetic and diverse student body, its innovative national and international distance learning curricula, its service to the community, and its established programs in a breadth of disciplines. The President and Rector of Eurasia International University is Professor Suren Ohanyan , Doctor of Geographic Sciences. Professor Ohanyan continues a distinguished career in scholarship and academia, having authored more than sixty academic articles and monographs in the fields of science and education, including the recent 'Euro-8 New Educational Technology' programme. Professor Ohanyan also serves as the Head of the Founders' Council of the Eurasia Educational Complex, which comprises Eurasia International University as well as the Avan Ohanyan Primary and Secondary School in Yerevan .
